THE SILENT DIVIDE: EXAMINING CASTE AND ITS IMPACT IN INDIA

INTRODUCTION
The word caste which have the power to change the whole life of a person. Whenever we listen or speak about this word whether we think about the origin of the word or what actually the word means.
The word caste it is a small word of 5 letter but it have a huge and broad concept which we can not even imagine. Initially this was not a concept or an important part of society but we the society made this and give this much of power which change the whole society and we can measure the importance of the concept by observing our own family.
E.g-
1- during marriage we first check whether both the family are of same caste or not.
2- In some family who are upper caste, did not take food even water from the lower caste
This type of discrimination was not there during ancient period they only category people according to their work but we made that category into caste category and represent to our future generation.
THE CASTE SYSTEM WE MADE
In the above we represent the caste system where -
1) "Brahmins" are the top and represent "head of lord bramha" it means their work to do worship it means profession of "priest" and teach everyone as a "teacher".
2) Then "kshatriya" it point at arm it means they are the warriors and rulers who have the potentials and ability to protect citizen. They are the "bodyguard" of the society.
3) Then " Vaishyas "and they are the farmers, traders and merchant of the society who make sure That the daily need available to everyone or not. Simply they are the "providers" of society.
4) Then "shudras" they are the labour class without whom we can not do anythings, the above castes are incomplete. All the higher caste need the help of shudras to complete their work. It means we can say that sudras are the "helping hand" of the society.
5) Then the "dalits" and their work to clean the roads, if we think
about their work then we can realise that we can not get clean environment without their help so they have the most important role in the society they are the "sanitizer" of the society.
THE REALITY OF POSITIVE CATEGORIZATION OF CASTE SYSTEM
These are not the category of higher caste or lower caste This are the type of caste in the society.
This category is not wrong or harm the sentiment of people but when we discriminate the people on the ground of caste which made by us that hurt them the most and they feel that they are the lower caste which down their confidence and feel like they are not the important part of the society, but that's not true all are equal in the society and according to constitution also all have the same right and same facilities and opportunities.
CASTE: THE UNSPOKEN BARRIER TO SOCIAL COHESION
In initial point a category made according to their work but in passing year it becomes a man made disaster of the society and this is true we can say that their is sad truth behind this " Veil of caste". We forgot that after any categorization we are a human, in day to day basis we are in contact with other human not with. Castes or their culture.
A story- Their were 3 friends who were very close to each other, they share their problems and happiness with each other, among 3, one is Lower caste and another two are upper caste, on a one sunny day all 3 friends went to lord shiva mandir and after their worship they went to the home of one who is upper caste, in her home they treat the upper caste child as their own child but they felt uncomfortable with the Lower caste child. And they Don't treat that child as good as other. After some passing days two upper child think they are the superior from the other and they gradually
ignored the Lower caste child duets which she losses her confidence.
So here we can observe 3 things-
1. child don't do discrimination until they not learn from their elders.
2. If they share their problem and happiness with each other then why not their other things?
3. If they went to the temple and their no discrimination made by the god then who we are to discriminate?
CONCLUSION
We should give respect to all the caste, we can take this kinds of caste as similar as how we treat our 5 finger of hand without one all other are incomplete like this without one caste all other are incomplete and we can not get all facilities how we get right now.
